HAPPY NATIONAL NUT DAY!

In honor of National Nut Day I was motivated to post some new content, or rather old content that I failed to post earlier this summer! The following segments were filmed during the summer 2014 picnic at Nash Nursery in Owosso, MI. Dennis Fulbright is one of MSU’s leading researchers working on developing chestnuts as a commercial crop in the state of Michigan. In this video series he talks about the biological control of chestnut blight using hypoviruses. CLICK HERE to learn more about hypovirulence.
